Drawing 3D boxes in PowerPoint

A while ago I discussed making translucent balls. Here is a similar trick for boxes that does not use the old PowerPoint shape with a simple cavalier perspective.

Hi Jan,

nice PowerPoint technique! I still get annoyed by people who say PowerPoint is the problem. PowerPoint is a really powerful and flexible tool in my eyes and I think most of the problems come from the wrong usage of PowerPoint and not from PowerPoint itself.

I was also impressed by the translucent balls post. Sometimes I would use PowerPoint for my image/graphic editing (if I don't have access to an Adobe program, that is).
