Disguising bullets in boxes

Fancy frameworks (pentagons, triangels) are bullet slides in disguise. Here is a concept that I recently used to put the 6 most important building blocks of a business on a slide. Keep the text really short.

Reminds me of Windows Phone 7 interface, or the new Windows 8 "Metro" interface which got quite some attention recently :)

I guess if we have to list out points, using this tile design makes it more visually appealing, though it may be harder for the eye to scan and pick out differences in the points if it's all uniform text in squares.

I would probably add small, appropriate icons to accompany the text (just like Windows Metro!), so that there's more visual contrast and the eye can immediately see the different points at first glance.

Do you think it'll work? :)

These would not really be bullets, more elements that form a whole. I did not notice the Metro resemblance until now
