And, if I might be so bold as to add...choose your colors with care. Some colors capture the eye stronger than others. Make sure you get a second opinion from friends.

While choosing colours, ensure that you have sufficient contrast for both your audience and your venue; there has been an alarming trend towards using faint colours which are difficult for many so use.
