A little fun on January 1. I ran the typealyzer test on a number of presentation, speaking and communication blogs tonight.

In case you are unfamiliar with Myers Brigs personality types, you can catch up here, and do a test here.

ISTP - “Mechanics”

Me (!!!) [a bit different from my test results]

Speaking about presenting

Breaking Murphy’s Law

Speak Schmeak

ISTJ - “Duty fullfillers”

David Padani

Xplane

INTP - “Thinkers”

Presentation Zen

Bert Decker

Guy Kawasaki

Mike Pulsifer

INTJ - “Scientists”

Seth Godin

PowerPoint Ninja

All of these great communicators are introverts? And now for the only extrovert in the pack:

ENTP - “Visionaires”

Empoweryourpoint

It is great to have so many excellent presentation blogs around. I am looking forward to exchanging ideas with you in the new year.

INTJ and very into personality types, including having a Personality Types page I put up years ago. I found it pretty funny that when I tried my INTJ page on Typealyzer, it didn't give INTJ haha.

I think the "T" comes in because:
1) The tool does not capture images
2) Lots of attention is given to the presentation "periphery": projectors, setup, meetings and how to set up/structure a presentation. All not very "F"

Thank you Jan for including EYP in this test! I have never been actually tested, but I think it is working quite well : with EYP I try to show that presentations are more & more important, and that there are a lot of innovations in this field; so I might be a little bit visionnaire.

Happy new year 2009!

Hmmmmm,

I've consistently found introverts to be more effective presenters, they tend to be more interested in their audience, their feelings and their reactions than full-on extroverts.

I wonder why they're all T's, and what that means...

(Unfortunately, the typealizer doesn't work for Dutch yet)
